I live in Fleetwood with my husband and son. My husband and his family are Fleetwood born and bred, and both my children were born and raised here. Although my daughter now lives in Australia with her two children, Fleetwood has been my home for more than 30 years.
I love the town and its people, whom I have always found to be down‑to‑earth, humorous, resilient, and fiercely loyal. I feel fortunate to have built lifelong friendships here.
I began my career in Fleetwood in 1995 as a care assistant at Lakeland View, later progressing into management at Chatsworth Resource Centre. I then spent three impactful years managing the Fleetwood Urgent Treatment Centre, leading its successful transition from a Same Day Health Centre to a full Urgent Care service. I continue to work for FCMS, where I manage our Inclusion Health services.
I bring a blend of deep community commitment, frontline service experience, and governance insight to this role. I am honoured to serve on the Pride in Future Board and view this work as an essential part of Fleetwood’s future growth and wellbeing.
Fleetwood has been awarded £20 million over the next decade as part of the UK Government’s 'Pride in Place' programme
and the Fleetwood community will decide how the money is spent to benefit our wonderful town.
PRIDE IN FLEETWOOD is supported by the UK Government, Lorraine Beavers MP for Blackpool North & Fleetwood and Wyre Council.
