Meet the Board

Hello, I am Liam Buswell, I am a trustee for Westview Community Association, where I am involved in youth work and wider community projects, such as the Fleetwood Together Christmas Appeal last year. 

I have been volunteering in Fleetwood for many years, supporting local residents and helping to make a difference within the community. After volunteering for Fleetwood Together foodbank, in 2020 I was awarded a community excellence award, which reflects my commitment to supporting those in need and how i try to make a positive impact on the town. 

I would like to be involved with the Pride in Fleetwood project, to help ensure the funding investments are spent meaningfully and deliver a lasting positive impact. I am particularly passionate about ensuring that the voices of young individuals are heard, valued, and genuinely incorporated into the decision-making process. Through my experience working within the local community, I understand some of the challenges that are currently being faced. 

 believe that community input is the best solution to improve our town. I am committed to working collaboratively to help Fleetwood thrive and to ensure this funding creates real opportunities and long-term benefits for our community.
