Meet the Board

Cllr Ruth Duffy

I have lived in Pharos Ward all my life, I attended St Mary's Primary School in Pharos Ward, and I have previously worked at Fleetwood hospital also in Pharos Ward.

I am currently one of Pharos Wards Borough Councillors & I'm passionate about improving the area and improving the lives of those that live here.

I want to see the town put back on the map as a great place to live and to visit, and this, I believe can be aided through the Pride in Place funding. But just as important, is the need for a collaboration of like-minded people who only want the best for the Mount and Pharos Wards residents and for the town as a whole.

I wanted to be part of this group and hopefully I can help bring some of the amazing ideas highlighted through the consultation to fruition.
